COLLINS, George. Professional.
Born at Cobham, Kent, 29th October 1851.
Died at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, 11th March 1905.
He turned out for Kent on thirteen occasions between 1874 and 1882. His brother Christopher played for Kent eight times 1881-85 and his nephew George Christopher played in 212 matches for the county 1911-20.
At the time of the 1881 Census he was a publican at 66 Northgate Street, Canterbury, Kent, with his wife Louisa, aged 25. Their son George is three months old. Louisas brother, William Taylor is also present, a clerk aged 20.
