Peter Crowther had the misfortune to score 99 on his first-class debut for Glamorgan, against Cambridge University at Fenner`s in 1977.

Sadly, the right-handed batsman never got another chance to score a hundred for the county, as after suffering health problems the following summer, he asked to be released from his contract.
