Summary

Glamorgan captain Robert Croft struck a superb century to steer Glamorgan to 5 wicket victory, and claim the division one title. In front of a packed house at Colwyn Bay, Lancashire were unfortunate to lose the toss and face the unenviable task of batting in damp overcast conditions. Run accumulation was notoriously difficult. Without being disrespectful, it came as no surprise to find the visitors at 62 for 4 in the 18th over. Valiant resistance from Mongia and Schofield enabled Lancashire to post a score of 218.
