Does he need a description? Bowlers of all countries (now even Indian post IPL) hate bowling to him. He can look the best in the business of bowling look foolish, when he has the willow in his hand. His audacity is unmatched and that sometimes does him in because as he himself says "When a ball is delivered, the only thing in my mind is that it has been delivered to be dispatched to the fence." Sehwag has been in phenomenal form off late, and it is this form at the top of the order which has brought India the success it has been garnering over the last couple of years. Smashing reputation it seems is his hobby. He and Gambhir went behind the mystery bowler Ajantha Mendis during India's tour to Sri Lanka and the result was that the consolation Test win that came there, was courtesy to his double century in the first innings of the Galle Test. Apart from all of these qualities, Sehwag also is more than a decent off-spinner and has a reputation of breaking partnerships. He is also a safe catcher and though has a burly body is a quick mover on the cricket ground. Sehwag is only the third batsman after Sir Don Bradman and Brian Lara to have crossed the hurdle of 300 plus runs in an innings in a Test match twice. With him in reasonable good form, the Indian team would surely be looking for a repeat of the last T20 WC performance.
