Todmorden have signed 31 year-old Sri Lankan all rounder Chintha Jayasinghe as professional.

 

The right handed batsman has scored 4822 runs at 29.1, including six centuries, since making his First-class debut in the 1996-97 season. His right arm medium pace has accounted for 103 wickets at 24.3. Jayasinghe played for Oldham last season scoring 1043 runs at 52.15 and he also took 26 wickets, having previously played for Clifton for two seasons.

 

The Sri Lankan is due to arrive on Thursday June 18th and will make his debut the following evening in the 20/20 game against Lowerhouse at Centre Vale.
