Aaron Redmond joins NZ squad

New Zealand have been given permission to include Aaron Redmond in their squad in the place of injured batsman Jesse Ryder.
Ryder suffered a groin injury while batting against Sri Lanka today and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.
Redmond is yet to play a one-day international but will now be available for New Zealand's final group game against England in Johannesburg on Tuesday when a Black Caps victory would secure them a place in the semi-finals.
