Three of Australia's squad of 18 in Malaysia for the DLF Cup are being
sent home, including fast bowler Mitchell Johnson who took four wickets
against India on Saturday.

Chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch said as well as Johnson, batsmen
Phil Jaques and Mark Cosgrove were departing, but it was no reflection
on how the players had performed. He said they brought a large squad so
they could have a look at some of their younger players with the
Champions Trophy, Ashes series and World Cup on the horizon.

“All three players were advised before the tour that they would only be
participating in the first two games of the DLF Cup,” he said. “This
was a good opportunity for all three young players to display their
skills at international level. They have all performed extremely well
and their return home is in no way a reflection of the performance of
those players.”
