The Indian team coach Greg Chappell has surprised his friends and foes alike by saying that Virender Sehwag was included in the team for the Cape Town Test as an optional spinner, Sahara Samay sources said. Chappell said that Sehwag has the ability to swing the ball and he would help Kumble in the absence of Harbhajan Singh, who has not bowled much in the last month or so. It is noteworthy that cricket fans were a bit disappointed when they found Virender Sehwag's name in the playing eleven for the Cape Town Test as this beleaguered Nawab of Najafgarh has miserably failed with the bat in the ongoing series in South Africa. Chappell also praised Dinesh Kaarthick for his superb knock of 63 as an opener.
