Graeme Smith gives his verdict of the match and pays tribute to the career of Lara

Audio from the West Indies captain Brian Lara confirming that he is to retire from One-Day International cricket at the conclusion of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 is now available for free download from the CWC Media Information Service (MIS), www.icc-cricket.com/mis

"I think this is the end of my one-day career, for sure," Lara says.

"I honestly feel that my game is over and we should give it to one of the younger players. Itís really tough playing one-day internationals out there. After the World Cup the next one-day tournament for the West Indies is in June in England and Iíd love to sit back and watch and see the team do well," he said.

"I want to leave a team that play better. And that is still my hope. These might be my last two one-day internationals but I still want to see the team moving out of this competition learning something from it and thatís all I can hope for. Itís demoralising yes but I want to see certain things happen and I want to see the team move on."

Also available on the MIS are audio clips from South Africa captain Graeme Smith, who discusses his sideís victory over the West Indies and also pays tribute to Laraís outstanding career.

Post-match audio from key players from the majority of matches at this tournament is available to download free of charge from the MIS.

Access to the site is password protected and those media requiring a password can obtain one from Robin Abrahams at robin.abrahams@wisdengroup.com

The MIS also includes post-match written quotes from all matches and, together with the tournamentís official website, www.cricketworldcup.com the two sites form a comprehensive online resource for media and the public to get all the latest news and views from this ninth ICC Cricket World Cup.
