Play commenced at 11.03a.m. on the first day with stumps being drawn at 6.34 p.m. On the second day play commenced at 11.02 a.m. and the match concluded in favour of South Australia Colts at 2.55 p.m. This was the first meeting between the Colts teams of these two States. On a poor wicket runs were at a premium and the match ended 2.45pm on the second afternoon. GDJ Smith, a member of the Queensland Under 19 team, came into this match in place of MG Maranta who was injured.
