Rain and bad light restricted play to 175 minutes on the first day
Rain forced the players off the field after 3 overs on the second day at which point Australia Women declared their first innings having not added to their overnight score
When rain again forced the players off the field at 5 pm on the second day, Australia Women declared leaving Canterbury Women 80 minutes to score 123 to win the game. However, the rain didn't stop so Canterbury Women were unable to begin their second innings
