E Paynter scored two centuries in a match for the first time. He was the first Lancashire batsman to achieve this feat since C Hallows also against Warwickshire in 1928. His 125 (1) took 248 minutes, eleven 4's. In the second innings, his 113* included eight 4's in 200 minutes.
