Surrey Colts players were from the following clubs: Parsons (Albury), Carpenter (Bermondsey), Brooker and Bryant (Bletchingley), Jones (Carshalton), Hooker and Lynn (Clapham), Iles (Kennington), Thompson and Southerton (Mitcham), Carney (Putney), Comber (Redhill)
The Surrey team included about eight who played at the Oval v. the Middlesex Colts, but only one (Bingham) of the Kent Colts participated in that match.
Ground very heavy. In this match the wickets, owing to rain, were unfit for cricket.
