Forever known as Fowler's match, a more remarkable game of cricket has scarcely be played between the Schools and Colleges. Eton College were 165 runs behind on the first innings and following on put up a score of 219 - only 54 runs ahead. R.St.L.Fowler then opened the bowling and took 8 wickets for 23 runs in 10 overs dismissing Harrow for 45.
