--> PH Parfitt (1) passed 10000 runs in first-class matches when he reached 40
--> RA White (1) passed 2000 runs in County Championship matches when he reached 15
--> PE Richardson (2) passed 14000 runs in County Championship matches when he reached 14
--> JSE Price reached 50 wickets in first-class matches when taking his 1st wicket in the Kent second innings

Middlesex were forced to declare their first innings at the overnight score when by the time of the start of play on the second day they did not have two players available to bat as most of the team were delayed
By the time Middlesex took the field five of their players had arrived, so Kent provided five substitiutes (one of whom took a catch) and the Middlesex 12th man was permitted to keep wicket. All the Middlesex players were on the field by the end of three overs)
