KC Bland (honeymoon) was unavailable for Rhodesia.
DC Napier twisted his right knee while batting in the Rhodesian first innings, which put him out of the rest of the match.
The South African Cricket Annual has transposed the methods of dismissal for Bacher and Waite in Transvaal's first innings.
