This game was brought to an end by a regrettable incident where Andrew Henderson played the ball which spun back towards his wicket. He hit it again, rather hard, to stop it doing so but made no attempt at a run. Presumably someone appealed and Umpire Lee gave him out, contrary to the laws of the game. Howell therefore took his men off the field and the game was awarded to Pullman
