This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project
Norfolk won by 75 runs at 5.10 pm on the second day. For the winners, there was 1 five and 5 fours in Buxton's 56. For the losers, Golding took 8 wickets for 43 runs in the Norfolk first innings, but did not bowl in the second innings. In the Norfolk first innings, Buxton was hit on the head and retired temporarily to bathe his face before resuming batting. Heslop injured a finger and batted down the order in the Norfolk second innings. Mack had to retire when fielding in the Herftfordshire second innings due to a leg strain. There are some variations in fall of wicket details between the different sources. With one or two exceptions, the scorecard adopts those in the Hertfordshire scorebook.
