This return match was drawn after the home team required 105 runs to win in 55 minutes. The encounter between the two teams at Norwich the previous week had also been drawn. Play was delayed by rain on the first day until 2.30 pm. Hayward took 11 wickets in the match for 128 runs to add to the 13 he had taken at Norwich. For Norfolk, Bathurst's 67 included 1 five and 5 fours and was scored in 105 minutes. Morley was unable to bowl in the Cambridgeshire second innings because of a shoulder injury.
