Bad light caused the game's abandonment at 5.45 pm on the second day.
For the home team Brown took 11 wickets in the match for 128 runs.
H R Orr scored 72 and Pollitt 55.
For the visitors, J F Marsh's 88 included 18 fours and P Rogers scored 59.
In the Bedfordshire first innings, the late arrival of Jeakings at the ground on the second day led to him forfeiting his innings.
