The encounter between the two teams at Reading at the beginning of the month been drawn. For the winners, A Rogers took 14 wickets in the match for 91 runs. Browning scored 85, Wakelin 55, A Rogers 54, and J W Marsh 53. In the Oxfordshire innings Browning and A Rogers put on 80 runs for the seventh wicket. For Berkshire, Gibb top-scored with 72.
