This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project - research is continuing on this scorecard which can be expected to change.
Suffolk won by 19 runs on the second day, a result that looked unlikely when Cambridgeshire led by 104 runs on first innings. The run margin of victory was the second closest of the season. Cambridgeshire required 120 runs to win in their second innings with around five hours of play remaining. For the winners, there were 11 fours in Penfold's 71 and 2 sixes and 8 fours in Catchpole's 66. For the losers, Roberson scored 54.
[Missing: Umpires; extras breakdown; part fall of wickets; in Cambridgeshire first innings boundaries in Roberson's 54, who held substitute catch; precise time completed.]
