Hertfordshire won this return match by ten wickets at 6.30 pm on the first day after Buckinghamshire followed on 121 runs behind on first innings. The match between the two sides at St Albans in July had also been won by Hertfordshire. For the winners, Coleman and Burton bowled unchanged through both Buckinghamshire innings with analyses of 10 wickets for 75 runs and 10 for 107 respectively. Coleman top-scored for Hertfordshire with 42 runs. For Buckinghamshire, Shaw top-scored with 29.
