Kent 2nd XI won this match by three wickets shortly before the close on the second day. For the winners Troughton scored 71, Snowden 69 and Powell 64. In the first innings Snowden and Troughton added 112 for the third wicket. Preston took 10 wickets in the match for 89 runs. Kent conceded 53 extras in the Buckinghamshire second innings and 80 in the match, 52 of which were byes. For Buckinghamshire Jennison scored 87, Ross 82, and Wright 57 not out. In the Buckinghamshire first innings Wright and Hearne adding 75 for the tenth wicket. In their second innings
Ross and Jennison added 135 for the first wicket. 101 runs were added for the second wicket (batsmen unknown).
