Buckinghamshire won by an innings and 195 runs at 2pm on the second day.
In their innings Jacksons's 86 included 10 fours. Ross's 50 came in 35 minutes, his 100 in 98 minutes, and his final score of 144 in 123 minutes with 25 fours. Jackson and Ross added 147 for the third wicket in a little over two hours.
I Evans was out first ball of Carmarthenshire's first innings. The umpire Holland was overcome by the heat and had to retire for treatment. B H G Shaw deputised as wicket-keeper when Franklin was taken ill on the second day.
