CLEGG, Henry.

Born at Dewsbury, Yorkshire, 8th December 1850.
Died at Dewsbury, Yorkshire, 30th December 1920.
He played for Yorkshire six times during 1881 and in the period 1881-83 in eight first-class matches. During the 1890s he was a member of the Dewsbury and Savile Club, but in 1895 he spent a year at the Little Lever Club, Bolton as joint groundsman. Just before his death he was living at Birstall.
In the 1881 Census he is shown as living at Whitelee Road, Batley, Yorkshire, aged 32, born at Birstal and a woollen cloth finisher. His wife is Hannah M., aged 33, and their son in James A., aged 4.
