How to get to Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd and where to stay

Ground:Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd

BY ROAD

 

The cricket ground is in the centre of the Ynysanghard Park complex in the heart of the valley town and close to the River Taff. There is limited access to the ground, which can be reached from the A470 and then the B4273 Ynysybwl Road. Parking is limited at the ground, but there are many town centre car parks just a few minutes walk from the ground. If you are travelling to Pontypridd along the M4, please exit at junction 32 and take the A470 signposted to Brecon.

BY BUS

 

There are many bus services run by Cardiff Bus and Stagecoach South Wales from Cardiff to Pontypridd which stop in the town centre, and on the roads adjoining the Park. Pontypridd Bus Station is half a mile from the ground. For times and details of Cardiff Bus services, please ring 01222 396521

 


BY TRAIN

 

The ground is literally a five minute walk away from the town`s railway station which is served by a frequent service Cardiff Railway Company and Alphaline services from Cardiff Central. For times of trains to and from Cardiff, please ring 0345 484950.

 


WHERE TO STAY

 

There are several hotels and country clubs in the Pontypridd area, including The Graig Hotel and the Miskin Manor, as well as others on the northern outskirts of Cardiff, which are just a short drive away from Pontypridd.
