HEALE, William Henry.
Amateur.
Born at Highfield, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, 27th April 1859.
Died at Lambeth, London, 24th April 1907.
The son of H.N.Heale, of Highfield, Hemel Hempstead, he was educated at Harrow School, where he was a member of the cricket eleven in 1878. He went up to Balliol College, Oxford, where he played in just one match for the University. His county cricket was for Hertfordshire 1879-95. He gained his B.A. in 1883, his M.A. in 1887. He took Holy orders and was vicar of Holy Trinity, Latimer Road, London W (Harrow Mission) 1892-95, then vicar of Wolstanton, Staffordshire, 1900-06 and of Penn, Staffordshire from 1906 until his death.
In the 1881 Census he appears as a 21 year old undergraduate in residence at Balliol College, Oxford.
