William Marsh was a useful cricketer and rugby player in the years after the Second World War.

 

The former pupil of Monmouth School played county rugby for Monmouthshire and won a place in a final Welsh trial. He was a brisk right arm seamer and forceful batsman, who appeared in four matches for Glamorgan in 1947.
