Jacques Kallis hit an unbeaten 58 as Bangalore Royal Challengers beat Delhi Daredevils by 7 wickets to win the 52nd match of the second edition of the Indian Premier League at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Kallis struck 2 sixes and 2 fours in his unbeaten knock that came off 56 balls as Bangalore chased down the victory target of 135 with one over to spare to keep their semi-finals hopes alive.
 
Rahul Dravid struck 4 fours in his 34-ball 38 before he was dismissed caught and bowled by Yogesh Nagar. Dravid and Kallis added 70 runs for the second wicket to keep Bangalore on course. Ross Taylor struck 3 huge sixes and a four in his blitzkrieg 25-run knock that came off 12 balls before he was caught at long-off by Daniel Vettori off Nagar. Bangalore had got off to a poor start as Ashish Nehra had opener Robin Uthappa (1) caught behind by keeper Dinesh Karthik in the first over. 
Earlier, Praveen Kumar took 3 wickets as Delhi Daredevils scored 134/7 in 20 overs. Batting first after winning the toss, Delhi got off to a bad start losing two wickets in the first over by Praveen Kumar. Delhi captain Virender Sehwag (0) continued with his poor form as he flicked an incoming delivery to short mid-wicket for Ross Taylor to take the catch. Two balls later, Mithun Manhas (0) tried to pull a bouncer, but gloved to second slip where Jacques Kallis dived forward to take the catch. 
Gautam Gambhir hit a six and 3 fours in 19-ball 27 before cutting a Jacques Kallis delivery to point for Taylor to take the catch. AB de Villiers hit 3 fours in his 29-ball 28 before he was clean bowled by an arm ball from Roelof van der Merwe. Anil Kumble struck in his first over by castling the stumps of Andrew McDonald (3) and took his second wicket by having Yogesh Nagar (20) caught at deep extra cover by Robin Uthappa.LATEST SCORES
