Though Australia are not exactly the favourites at next month's ICC World T20 Championships given their past record and off late performances, but skipper Ricky Ponting said he feels it is hard to predict a team's chances in the shortest format of the game.

Australia were ousted by eventual champions India in a cliffhanger of a match in the semifinals of the first edition of the championship. Since then the side has only won 11 of the 21 Twenty20 internationals till date that they have played. But Ponting still believes his side would come up with good performances and put up a better show in the second edition of the event starting June 5.
"I think that game is hard to judge if you try to get a form line even out of the IPL there were all sorts of upsets throughout that," Ponting said. "It is that sort of game."
The right-handed batsman said that his men have learnt their lessons from the last edition and are expected to come up with a much better show this time around. "We will be very well prepared for that, we have learnt a lot about the game in the last couple of years," he said.LATEST SCORES
