The Pakistan Cricket Board and the fans of the country will have to wait until June 19 to know whether the country would get back the rights of hosting the 2011 World Cup.

PCB Chief Operating Officer Saleem Altaf said that there would be a couple of meetings taking place between International Cricket council (ICC) and the officials of the host boards of the World Cup in London on June 15 and 19.
"We are expecting a decision on the 19th when Sharad Pawar would also attend in person. He will be available on teleconference on the 15th," Altaf said.
Pakistan has launched a legal challenge against the ICC's decision to take away the co-host rights and it has claimed it can even host its share of matches (14) at neutral venues if security is not deemed to be good at home. PCB also said that it would submit a fresh security plan for its World Cup matches.
"We are hopeful some solution will come out because we ourselves don't want any prolonged legal battle with the ICC or anyone else," Altaf said.LATEST SCORES
