Player:CH Gayle

DateLine: 25th June 2009

Chris Gayle is considered to be one of the most laid back players in modern day cricket. Tall and imposing at the crease, he loves to carve through the covers off either foot, and has the ability to tear apart the opposition bowlers without taking much effort. His hold-no-barrels approach puts the opposition bowlers under so much pressure but it can also backfire spectacularly as it has brought about his downfall on various occasions. He was handed the reigns of captaincy when the original choice, Sarwan was injured and has impressed many with his captaincy skills. He has on several occasions hinted at his discomfort with the captaincy tag but with no other suitable candidates around he still remains the caoptain.
