Ricky Ponting added another feather to his glittering resume as he surpassed Allan Border as the highest run-scorer for Australia in Tests.

The Skipper moved past Allan Border's mark of 11,174 runs in the third Test against England at Edgbaston.
His decorated career includes twice being named world player of the year, second place in Test cricket's list of prolific centurions, third (after moving past Border) among all-time run scorers and a raft of winners' medals as captain in global limited-overs events.
The one indelible stain on his CV, though, was left by the 2005 Ashes defeat to England.
He followed it up with a clinical revenge of a 5-0 whitewash in the 2006-07 series.
"There's one thing on my cricketing resume that hasn't been achieved yet, and that's being captain of a winning Ashes series in England," Ponting said, when Australia revealed their 16-man squad.
"It's something very dear to my heart, and something I'll certainly be speaking to the players about - making sure we get over that hurdle."
Allan Border also came forward to pay rich tributes to Ponting's achievement and said he is a great adrmirer of Punter.
"Clearly, I'm a great admirer, having been involved in Ricky's selection in many great Australian sides, and having enjoyed watching him closely on more occasions than I can remember as a cricket media commentator as well," said former Australian captain Border.
"It is not just the number of runs he has made, it is how he has made them as a dominant force, leading from the front and scoring at a rate previous champions would have regarded as unthinkable."LATEST SCORES
