Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza's injury leave might get a lot longer than expected as the right-arm medium-pacer is to undergo surgery on both knees.

The decision to go under the knife was taken after Mortaza, 25, consulted orthopaedic surgeon David Young in Melbourne.
The surgeon advised Mortaza, who has already had a total of four knee operations, to have an arthroscopic procedure on both joints.
"The surgery is likely to be performed on Monday (Aug 10) after which an assessment will be made on the extent of the injury and the possible duration for recovery," read a statement from the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Mortaza fell awkwardly while bowling on the third day of the first Test against West Indies at St Vincent in July, limped off the field and has been sidelined since.LATEST SCORES
