A well-paced 87 from Suresh Kumar and cool head from Dinda helped India Blue to overhaul the a stiff target set by India Red. Dinda hit the boundary which sealed the match in Blues' favour, after they needed seven off the last over with just the one wicket in hand.

India Red were powered by a solid start from their openers M Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan. Vijay scored at over a run-a-ball but fell when giving Harbhajan Singh the charge and with Dhawan's dismissal the innings came to a standstill. Red stumbled further when S Badrinath was run-out after a mix-up with Khadiwale. Khadiwale and Jaggi stepped up with a stand of 49 for the fourth wicket. Khadiwale fell shortly after getting to his fifty. Jaggi he failed to push on after reaching his fifty, edging Yusuf Pathan to Ojha while attempting a cut. Blue continued to chip away at the wickets and by the time Red took the batting Powerplay in the 45th over, they had already lost nine wickets. Harbhajan was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 for 40.
The chase looked well in control as Suresh Kumar played the sheet anchor's role to perfection. Harbhajan promoted up the order, made a quick fire 36 while Dhoni made a crafty 37 and once the skipper was dismissed the match was interestingly poised. Yusuf Pathan did nothing off note and it was left to last pair of Dinda and Trivedi to help their team past the target.LATEST SCORES
