A Ceremony in honor of Mr. Aleem Dar who was awarded the Best Umpire of the Year 2008 will be held on October 15, 2009 at 5.pm at National Cricket Academy Lahore. Chairman PCB will present the Souvenir to Mr. Aleem Dar.

 

Aleem Dar made his international debut as an umpire in 2000, joined the Emirates Elite Panel in 2004. It is the first time he has received this award beating his colleagues on the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires Asad Rauf, Tony Hill and five-time ICC Umpire of the Year Simon Taufel.

 

All PCB accredited electronic and print media are invited to attend.
