The Selection Committee of PCB met in Lahore today and finalized the Pakistan team for the upcoming Test Match Series in Australia. The following will be the players who will tour Australia for the Test matches:

 

1. Salman Butt
2. Khurrum Manzoor
3. Imran Farhat
4. Mohammad Yousuf - (Captain)
5. Misbah-ul-Haq
6. Shoaib Malik
7. Fawad Alam
8. Faisal Iqbal
9. Kamran Akmal - (Vice Captain)
10. Danish Kaneria
11. Saeed Ajmal
12. Umar Gul
13. Mohammad Asif
14. Mohammad Aamer
15. Abdur Rauf
16. Umar Akmal

 

Mohammad Yousuf has been appointed to continue as Captain of the Team for Tests and ODI series in Australia whereas Kamran Akmal would be his deputy for the Test matches. Shahid Afridi will be the Captain for T20 and would also be the Vice Captain for ODI matches on the Australia series.
