| Event: | Sri Lanka in India 2009/10 |
DateLine: 22nd December 2009
Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of the rest of the ODI series against Sri Lanka because of a finger injury. Yuvraj had missed the first two ODIs with the same injury, but played in the third ODI, though he didn't make much of an impact, scoring just 23 off 40 balls.

It has now emerged that Yuvraj is suffering from hairline fracture in the finger and is doubtful for the next series in Bangladesh too.
Yuvraj had picked up the injury while fielding during the second Twenty20 in Mohali - a match that was played on his birthday and in which he starred with both bat and ball.
The Indian selectors are expected to make an announcement shortly regarding the replacement for Yuvraj. Among the contenders would be S Badrinath, Murali Vijay and Rohit Sharma.
Yuvraj's absence means India will be without Dhoni and Yuvraj for the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka on December 24 in Kolkata.LATEST SCORES
