Mumbai will meet Delhi in the semis after the visitors got through the quarters by the virtue of their first innings lead. Ajinkya Rahane scored his second century of the match as the Haryana bowlers toiled hard on an unresponsive pitch.

 

With Haryana knocked out the Mumbai batsmen went about their task at their own pace as they were happy to get some batting practice. The mindset of the team management was reflected as Abdulla was promoted up the order to give the tailender some valuable batting practice ahead of the crucial match against Delhi.
