Indian international pacer S. Sreesanth has been replaced as captain of the Kerala cricket team for the forthcoming season.
 
Raiphi Vincent Gomez, who got into the Indian record books by hitting 34 runs in one over against Hyderabad in the Subbaiah Pillai One-day tournament, has been appointed the new captain. 
Sreesanth, who has been struggling with injuries and indifferent form, is in the 25-member list. Kerala team is keen to put up a fine performance in the coming season and has picked players based on their current form and not on their past performance. 
Tinu Yohannan, another pacer, who got selected into the Indian team, has been dropped.LATEST SCORES
