| Scorecard: | Australia v Canada |
| Event: | ICC World Cup 2010/11 |
DateLine: 25th March 2011
It was a great partnership between Shane Watson and Haddin which helped Aussies to a comfortable victory against Canada. The uniqueness of the partnership between these two batsmen was that Haddin played some extraordinary cricketing strokes which consisted of sixes and boundaries. Watson and Haddin opted for batting power play from overs 21 to 25 and scored 41 runs in that stretch.

Haddin remained the aggressor, picking the length early to clatter through the off side and swat over mid wicket. Shane Watson true to his nature cut loose once the power play was over, pummelling leg spinner Balaji Rao twice to Members Stand. These knocks by both batsmen proved a lot is in store for the Australian team to fire on all cylinders in this mega event.(Article: The opinions expressed in this article are those of the author only.
