It was a fitting tribute to all rounder Steve Tikolo who hanged his boots after the game against Zimbabwe in the World Cup 2011. His career span of 134 one day internationals and a great leader who boosted his team and made Kenya prove a shock to many teams in the World.

 

He was the person who took Kenya to the 2003 World Cup semifinals and was instrumental in Kenya's success. It was not only Kenyan players but all Zimbabwe players and all match officials who came out to greet him once he got out and was walking back to the pavilion for the last time.

 

There were tears in all Kenyan fans eyes and cricket lovers to see this charming leader for the last time in the International Arena.
