Qaiser Abbas will not be returning to Todmorden as professional next season. The club had offered him terms but the Pakistani all rounder has opted to sign for Bolton League side Westhoughton instead.

Todmorden Chairman Mark Clayton said: "The club would like to thank Qaiser for all his efforts over the last two seasons. He has been one of the best professionals the club has ever had and we part on amicable terms."
In his first season at the club Abbas became the first Todmorden professional since Syl Oliver in 1966 to take 100 wickets in a season, the slow left armer finishing with 108 league wickets at 12.3. He also struck 822 runs at 51.4 with one century and six half centuries as the team finished in third place.
This season he has 737 runs at 52.6 with one century and six fifties. He is also on course to take another 100 wickets. Currently he is the joint leading wicket-taker with 89 wickets at 11.9.LATEST SCORES
