2013 profile
The all-rounder joined Glamorgan in 2009 having previously played for Leicestershire since 2006. During his time with the East Midlands side, Jim produced some useful performances, including a spell of four wickets in four balls in their Twenty20 match against the Lancashire Lightning at Old Trafford in 2008.

His skills with bat and ball have proved invaluable to Glamorgan in both four-day and one-day cricket, and he has produced several match-winning performances, including an unbeaten 125 against Kent at the SWALEC Stadium which laid the foundations for a comprehensive victory in the closing match of the 2012 season - a summer which also Jim end up as the Club's leading wicket-taker in first-class cricket with 42 wickets at just 23 runs apiece. In recognition of his efforts, he was the Club's Player of the Year for 2012, whilst he also won the prestigious Wetherell Award from the Cricket Society for being the leading all-rounder in English cricket.

Jim continued in outstanding form with both bat and ball in 2013, amassing over 2,000 runs in all forms of cricket, besides winning the Man-of-the Match Award in the Yorkshire Bank40 semi-final against Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl as the Welsh county clinched a place in the final of the 40-overs competition at LordÂ’s. Jim will lead the county in the Twenty20 competition in 2014.
