After the call up of Jon-Jon Smuts to the South African A tour and due to the number of matches he would miss, Enfield have had to look elsewhere for a professional for season 2017.

 

The club has signed 29 year old Indian, Dwaraka Ravi Teja for the forthcoming season.

 

Ravi has IPL experience with Deccan Chargers and Hyderabad, and played with India A.

 

Predominantly a batsman, Ravi also bowls leg spin.

 

He has scored over 3,800 First-class runs at an average of over 40.

 

The club looks forward to welcoming Ravi to Dill Hall Lane and would also like to thank Gary Hunt for helping to secure Ravi's services.
