Pakistan squad for tour to India 
On the recommendation of the Selection Committee comprising Mr Wasim Bari (Chairman), Mr Iqbal Qasim (Member) and Mr Ehteshamuddin (Member), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named the following players for the forthcoming series in India: 
1. Inzamam-ul-Haq (captain)2. Younis Khan (vice-captain)
3. Yousuf Youhana
4. Abdul Razzaq
5. Shahid Afridi
6. Taufeeq Umar
7. Yasir Hameed
8. Salman Butt
9. Shoaib Malik
10. Asim Kamal
11. Kamran Akmal (wicketkeeper)
12. Mohammad Sami
13. Naved-ul-Hasan
14. Danish Kaneria
15. Arshad Khan
16. Mohammad Khalil
 
Reserves: 
1. Iftikhar Anjum2. Abdur Rauf
3. Faisal Athar
 
It may be mentioned that Mohammad Sami and Mohammad Khalil have been tested by the Trainer as well as Physio at the PCB Academy and were found to be fully fit. 
Fast bowler Shabbir Ahmed would require further training for full recovery. 
Arshad Khan has been included in the squad on the basis of his consistent performance in domestic cricket and keeping in view conditions in India. 
Coach Bob Woolmer and Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq were consulted before finalising the squad.
