PCB would like to point out that Shoaib Malik has not been considered for selection as he needs to be with his family in the wake of his father’s untimely death.

Hasan Raza could not find a place in the squad as he has a hairline fracture suffered during a recent domestic match.

Asim Kamal had to skip the ongoing domestic tournament because of his father's illness and therefore could not be considered for selection.

Faisal Iqbal and Umar Gul have been included in the squad due to their impressive performance in domestic cricket.
