The National Selection Committee, in consultation with the team management, has named the following players for inclusion in the Pakistan Team's One-Day International Series against South Africa:

 

1. Shabbir Ahmed (who is now fit as confirmed by fitness test)
2. Abdul Razzaq (who is now fit as confirmed by fitness test)
3. Shahid Afridi
4. Abdur Rehman
5. Imran Nazir (who is in good form this domestic season)

 

As per the National Selection Committee, the following players will return to Pakistan after the conclusion of the South Africa-Pakistan Test Series:

 

1. Faisal Iqbal
2. Asim Kamal
3. Danish Kaneria
4. Shahid Nazir

 

One more player will return to Pakistan after the conclusion of the Test Series.
