Sanjay Bangar will not be returning as Rawtenstall professional. The Indian all rounder's wife is expecting a baby in the summer.

Rawtenstall Chairman Brian Payne said: "It's a big disappointment. Sanjay has been in touch with us every week and he had been looking forward to coming back."
Bangar missed the first four matches and took some time to settle in as Rawtenstall found themselves at the wrong end of the table in 2007. In fact the club languished in 12th spot when they embarked on an unbeaten run that saw Rawtenstall win ten completed matches in a row after beating Ramsbottom at Acre Bottom on July 8th in the only match to be played on that day. Bangar's match winning performance saw him score the first of seven half centuries in his total of 674 runs at 51.8. Perhaps of more significance was the Indian's switch to bowling off spin which saw him pick up 56 wickets at 18.7.
